Subject: – Enhancement in cash handling limit of authorized agents of Small Savings Scheme and commission to Kisan Vikas Patra Scheme – reg.
Sir / Madam,
The undersigned is directed to convey the decision of the Min. of Finance (DEA) for enhancement of cash handling limit of authorized agents of Small Savings Scheme and commission in respect of Kisan Vikas Patra Scheme.
2. Ministry of Finance (DEA) vide its OM. F. No. 2/4/2014-NS.II dated 01.07.2015 has modified the cash handling limit by authorised agents of Small Savings Scheme and increased it from Rs 10000/- to Rs 20000/- on behalf of depositor.
3. The agent’s commission in respect of Kisan Vikas Patra Scheme is also enhanced from 0.5% to 1% vide aforesaid OM. dated 01.07.2015 and the date of effect has been notified vide OM. of even number dated 10.07.2015 giving effective date of enhancement of commission from 15.07.2015.
4. It is requested to circulate the above instructions to all field units and ensure that the instruction is strictly followed.
5. This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
