Brig Sivasankar Vidyasagar's excellent job for JCOs,& OR

October 19 at 10:49am · Dear JCO, NCO and OR Veterans, 1. I keep getting calls from JCOs, NCOs and OR about their pension arrears from Jan 2006 to 23 Sep 2012. I am extremely happy listen to them and try to answer their simple queries. Nk Balvir Singh from Bhatinda speaks to me very regularly. Sub Indra Gurung of 4 GR, a battle disabled soldier speaks to me from Khatmandu, Nepal. The one point which they are all anxious is about their pension arrears. I can understand their anxiety. 2. You must know Govt of India enhanced your pension thrice. First time it is w.e.f. Jan 2006 due to 6th Central Pay Commission. The pension entitlement for JCOs and OR is given in Circular 397 and also in Min of Def letter dated 11 Nov 2008. Then your pension was again increased w.e.f. Jul 2009 and is given in Circular 430. Third time pension was increased w.e.f 24 Sep 2012 and is given in Circular 501. 3. Please give me your pensions as on the following periods as shown below:- (a) W.e.f Jan 2006. You will know this figure from you pass book sometime in Mar or Apr of 2009 when your bank has started paying you higher pension. If you do not have pass book then go to your bank and tell them to just tell you how much you got as pension w.e.f Jan 2006 due to 6th CPC. Your bank clerk has to look into computer of your account of Jan or Feb 2009 to tell you how much you received as pension w.e.f. Jan 2006. (b) W.e.f Jul 2009. This again you can find out from your pass book in the period Jan to Mar 2010. If not then go to your bank and find out from them. © W.e.f 24 Sep 2012. This is again you can find from you pass book in the period Apr to Jun 2013. 4. Once you give me these three figures, I will calculate your pension arrears from Jan 2006 to 23 Sep 2012. Regards, Brig CS Vidyasagar (Rtd) 9493191380 Like
