DISBURSEMENT OF ARREARS OF OROP-II

Indian Military Veterans
EXTENSION OF TIME FOR IMPLEMENTING JUDGMENT OF HON'BLE SUPREME COURT ON DISBURSEMENT OF ARREARS OF OROP-II
Esteemed Members,

1.       The fighter Maj SK Jain obtained a copy of noting sheet on their action to seek three more months' time to implement the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court to Disburse Arrears by 15 Jun 2022. Now they are asking Extension of Time for three more Months as CGDA has to prepare Pension Tables.
2.      One may ask a Simple Question. When OROP is to be Implemented by Min of Def  every five years as per the Policy letter dt 07 Nov 2015 and they very will know that next OROP is due from Jul 2019 what was CGDA Staff doing for not preparing the Pension Tables like they did for OROP-1. They just have to collect PPOs or EPPOs of all those Retired from Three Services in the Calendar year 2018 and fix the Pension in OROP w.e.f Jul 2019. This takes just three Months with Computerisation. But CGDA wants some Excuse to delay in Disbursement when they know some of them will leave for their heavenly abode without seeing their Higher Pension w.ef. Jul 2019.
Second is the Min of Def is run by Under Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries. Every one above the Dy Secy put their Thumb Impression and take NFFU which costs the Govt of India Rs 24000 Crores per Annum. But OROP is a heavy burden on the Govt of India.
         Warm Regards.
