• How to identify oneself in SPARSH for continuation of pension ? 

  1. If Aadhaar is present in SPARSH then proceed with biometric based verification using Digital Life Certificate (DLC) or Jeevan PramanIf Aadhaar is present in SPARSH then proceed with biometric based verification using Digital Life Certificate (DLC) or Jeevan Praman

  2. If Aadhaar is not present in SPARSH then proceed with manual verification using Manual Life Certificate (MLC)

  # SMS sent to pensioners from SPARSH mentioning if Aadhaar is present in SPARSH or not. Details also present in PCDA(P) official website - https://pcdapension.nic.in/pcda/view-sparshppo.php

  NRI pensioners can forward their life certificate to PCDA (P) Prayagraj after getting it signed from concerned Embassy/High Commission of India

• SPARSH: Identification using Digital Life Certificate (DLC)

• Pensioner/Family pensioner must provide his/her biometric information using authorized biometric devices

  1. Aadhaar Number should be available in SPARSH. Same can be checked via:
     - SMS sent to from SPARSH mentioning if Aadhaar is present in SPARSH or not
     - Details also present in PCDA(P) official website - https://pcdapension.nic.in/pcda/view-sparshppo.php

  2. Pensioner may submit Digital Life Certificate via any of the following:
     - SPARSH Pensioner Portal - https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in/
     - Service Center - DAD, DIAV, Banks and CSC

  3. Upon successful completion of Digital Life Certificate, identification is marked as successful in SPARSH. Pension to be credited automatically to the account of pensioner

• SPARSH: Identification using Jeevan Praman

  Pensioner/Family pensioner must provide his/her biometric information using authorized biometric devices

  1. Aadhaar Number should be available in SPARSH. Same can be checked via:
     - SMS sent to from SPARSH mentioning if Aadhaar is present in SPARSH or not
     - Details also present in PCDA(P) official website - https://pcdapension.nic.in/pcda/view-sparshppo.php

  2. Pensioner must keep in mind the following details:
     - PPO Number - PPO number entered should be either SPARSH PPO Number or 12 - digit legacy numeric PPO number
     - PDA - PDA should be selected as "SPARSH"

  3. Upon successful completion of Certificate from Jeevan Praman, identification is marked as successful in SPARSH. Pension to be credited automatically to the account of pensioner

  4. Pensioner is requested to track status of Jeevan Praman request after 48 hours in order to check the final status of Jeevan Praman request

  • Pensioner/Family pensioner must provide his/her biometric information using authorized biometric devices

    2. Process of identification using Manual Life Certificate is a two - step process, namely:
       - Downloading the Manual Life Certificate from SPARSH
       - Uploading the "Manual Life Certificate" signed by the designated authority

    3. Pensioner may submit Manual Life Certificate via any of the following:
       - SPARSH Pensioner Portal - https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in/
       - Service Center - DAD, DIAV, Banks and CSC

    4. Upon successful submission of Manual Life Certificate, identification request is approved and marked as successful in SPARSH by PCDA(P). Pension to be credited automatically to the account of pensioner

  • क्या पोर्टल से डाउनलोड करने के बाद मैन्युअल जीवन प्रमाण-पत्र अपलोड करने की कोई समय-सीमा है?

    नहीं, स्पर्श पर मैन्युअल जीवन प्रमाण-पत्र कभी भी अपलोड किया जा सकता है

  • • क्या पिछले वर्ष डाउनलोड किए गए फॉर्म का उपयोग इस वर्ष मैन्युअल पहचान के लिए किया जा सकता है?

      नहीं। एक बार पहचान के लिए जमा किए गए मैन्युअल जीवन प्रमाण-पत्र का पुन: उपयोग नहीं किया जा सकता है।

    • क्या मैं अपने पेंशन संबंधी सभी बकाया विलंबित पहचान पर प्राप्त कर सकूंगा?

      हाँ। पहचान में देरी होने पर सभी लागू पेंशन संबंधी बकाया का भुगतान किया जाएगा।

    • जीवन प्रमाण पत्र निम्नलिखित में से एक या अन्य अधिकारियों द्वारा जारी/हस्ताक्षरित किए जा सकते हैं।

      (i) आपराधिक प्रक्रिया संहिता, 1898 (1898 का ​​5) के तहत मजिस्ट्रेट की शक्ति का प्रयोग करने वाला कोई भी व्यक्ति।
      (ii) पंजीकरण अधिनियम, 1908 (1908 का 16) के तहत एक रजिस्ट्रार या सब-रजिस्ट्रार।
      (iii) कोई भी पेंशनभोगी अधिकारी जो सेवानिवृत्ति से पहले मजिस्ट्रेट की शक्तियों का प्रयोग करता था।
      (iv) सरकार का कोई राजपत्रित अधिकारी।
      (v) ए मुंसिफ।
      (vi) एक पोस्ट मास्टर।
      (vii) एक विभागीय सब पोस्ट मास्टर।
      (viii) डाकघरों का एक निरीक्षक।
      (ix) भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के एक वर्ग I अधिकारी .
      (x) भारतीय स्टेट बैंक का एक अधिकारी।
      (xi) भारतीय स्टेट बैंक के एक सहायक बैंक का एक अधिकारी।
      (xii) एक ग्राम पंचायत, ग्राम पंचायत या गाँव पंचायत का प्रमुख।
      (xiii) किसी गांव की कार्यकारी समिति का मुखिया।
      (xiv) उस बैंक के माध्यम से पेंशन प्राप्त करने वाले पेंशनभोगी के संबंध में भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक अधिनियम, 1934 (1934 का 2) की दूसरी अनुसूची में शामिल बैंक का एक अधिकारी।
      (xv) A पुलिस अधिकारी जो किसी पुलिस स्टेशन के प्रभारी उप-निरीक्षक के पद से नीचे का न हो।
      (xvi) लोकसभा/राज्य सभा/विधान सभा/विधान परिषद का सदस्य या नगर निगम का पार्षद या नगर पालिका का पार्षद।
      (xvii) पेंशनभोगियों के मामले में कार्यालय के प्रमुख द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित पेंशनभोगी द्वारा प्रस्तुत जीवन प्रमाण पत्र, जहां वह फिर से नियोजित है।
      (xviii) एक जिला सैनिक कल्याण अधिकारी- (डीएसडब्ल्यूओ)।
