Sub:- Revised Pay XML: Process for manual input of Average pay in SPARSH System regarding.
With reference to the subject mentioned above, it is intimated that an additional tag of “Average Pay - <AVG_PAY>” has been added in Pay XML which is non-mandatory and input of average of reckonable emoluments drawn by individual during the last 10 months of his/her service can be entered in place of Pay Spells. The following changes have been incorporated in the system:
Case 1 - Where pay files are uploaded through XML:
- Case where pay spell is provided but average pay is not given, system will calculate average pay based on pay spells.
- Case where pay spell and average pay both areprovided, system will calculate average pay based on pay spells provided and will ignore the average pay.
- When pay spell is not provided but average pay is given, system will capture the value of average pay as it is.
Case 2- Where pay details are manually captured in SPARSH System:
Pay initiator will be able to enter either Pay Spell or Average Pay.
- If average pay value is more than “zero”, pay spell tab will disappear. User will manually calculate average pay value and enter into the respective field. Calculation sheet has to be mandatorily uploaded under requisite tab.
- If average pay value is “zero”, process will remain same and user has to provide pay spell for last 10 months service.
In cases where pay files are uploaded using XML, generated digitally signed from source system, it will be automatically approved after successful processing.
In cases where pay details are manually entered through the work list by pay initiator users. They need to forward the pay file to pay approver for verification and approval.
