Step 1: Open the Website

- Date of Enrollment /Commissioning: The date when you joined or were commissioned in the Defence forces.
- Date of Retirement: The date when you retired from the Defence forces.
- Entitlement Category: The category is based on your pay level.
- Pay Level: Your pay level as per your PPO.
- PPO/Discharge No. (Ex. Servicemen): If you are a retired Defence personnel, your PPO/Discharge number.
- PAN Number: Your PAN Number.
- Username: A unique username that does not have any special characters.
- Email: Your email address.
- Password: A secure password.
- Mobile Number: Your mobile number.
- Agree with Terms of Use and Privacy: Read and accept the terms and conditions.
- Captcha: Enter the characters shown on the screen.
You need to enter your name, card ID, and chip number exactly the way they are printed on your grocery card/ canteen card. You also need to enter your mobile number and click on “Send OTP”. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number and you need to enter it in the extra column that pops up.
If a new user with the same username/ grocery card/ PAN number already exists, you will see an error screen. No user can have the same details like username, email, etc. If the error persists, you may contact the help desk.
If your date of enrolment/ commissioning is less than 5 years old, then you will not be entitled to buy any products. After completing the form, click on “Submit”. If the form is correctly filled, you will get a notification. You will not be able to log in right away. After submitting the form, the admin will verify your details and then grant you access. The verification process may take 3 to 5 days. Please be patient during this time. Once your registration is approved, you will be able to access the CSD AFD portal and shop for discounted products online.
