 Ministry  of Defense releases list of allowances increased by 50% by DA 

 The hike in DA/DR for central government employees to 50%  has already been implemented. Currently, the civil servant is waiting for increase in all  allowances including her HRA etc. The government's decisions in this regard are reflected here.

PAYMENT OF DEARNESS ALLOWANCE TO ARMED FORCES OFFICERS AND PERSONNEL BELOW OFFICER RANK INCLUDING NCs (E) — REVISED  RATES EFFECTIVE FROM 01 JAN 2024

1. Dearness allowance payable to Armed Forces and PBOR including Non-Combatants (Enrolled) has been enhanced from the existing rate of 46% to 50% wef 01 Jan 2024 as per MoD letter No 1(6)/2021/0(Pay/Services-Pt-l) dt 20 Mar 2024.
2. Incr of DA by 50% has tantamount to incr the rates of va ious alIces by 25%. List of affected allces/reimbursements are att in Appx.
3. The advisory may be disseminated down to unit level.
