Much-needed information for dedicated veterans
1) In the case of next of kin pension of the wife after the death of an ex-serviceman, the following four documents must contain the wife's name and date of birth correctly and completely (in ddmmyyyy format) consistently: there is.
(a) JN-PPO: The ex-military's girlfriend's PPO must include the wife's correct name and date of birth. This means that there must be a jointly notified PPO or JN-PPO for her.
(b) Joint Pension Bank Account: The ex-combatant's pension account must have his wife's correct name and date of birth recorded, and the pension bank account must be a joint account with his wife.
(c) Wife's girlfriend's Aadhaar card: Wife's name and date of birth must be spelled correctly. Date of birth must be written in her DDMMYYYY format.
For example, August 15, 1969.
(d) Wife's girlfriend's PAN card: Wife's name and date of birth must be entered correctly. The date of birth must be written in her DDMMYYYY format.
2) For those who retired before 1986, the pension book will only include the wife's name as the holder. This means that after the death of her husband, the widow will no longer receive her family pension.
3) To do this, the ex-serviceman must file an application with the Registration Court before his death to obtain his wife's name as PPO and JN-PPO lawyer. A detailed message regarding this (process and form) will be available on his Telegram channel here on July 30, 2022.
4)If the correct name of the wife is registered in her JN-PPO of an ex-serviceman and the name matches with the joint pension account, Aadhaar card and PAN card of the wife, then the widow will be eligible to receive the same from her JN-PPO. You will receive a family pension for the rest of your life. PPOs are not currently issued and are not issued separately in the widow's name.
5) If the wife's name is wrong in JN-PPO and the name does not match with her wife's Aadhaar card and her PAN card, then you have two options. (a) Option 1: Provide the name of the wife's JN-PPO on her Aadhaar and PAN card of the wife. And use this Aadhaar and PAN card to change your wife's name in the bank. This will ensure that your JN-PPO, pension bank account, wife's girlfriend Aadhaar card and PAN card have the same name and you will not have any difficulty in receiving your family's pension. (b) Second option: If the wife's name, Aadhaar card and PAN card cannot be changed, then the wife's name and date of birth (DOB) must be corrected in the service record of JN-PPO.
To do this, you must follow her three steps:
Step-1: Apply to the Registrar through Barasat Sainik Board to change the correct name and date of birth of the wife in the documents.
Step 2: Having received her second part of the order to correct the name and date of birth from the registry office, bring it to the military commission and enter it in the discharge register.
Step 3: Apply again to the Registrar through Sainik Board. The Registry will review your case and send it to the PCDA. PCDA changes wife's correct name and date of birth in Touch PPO. Her PPO issued in her name can be viewed and downloaded on the Prash website.
Note: If you have an errata JN-PPO with your wife's correct name and date of birth, there will be no problem in receiving your wife's survivor's pension in the future.
5) If the wife's date of birth in the PPO is incorrect. If the date of birth of a woman in the service record or PPO is incorrect, please change this date of birth in Aadhaar and PAN card and match it with the PPO. or To change your date of birth, please submit an application to the registry office.
If your wife's date of birth is not listed on the document, or only her age is listed, please enter the correct date of birth on the document and apply for Part 2. Once you receive the part you want to order with the correct date of birth, submit a service request on the Prash website to be registered with Prash PPO. A report on this matter has already been submitted.
Note: Remember: If the woman's name and her date of birth are incorrect, request correction of both at the same time. Send all documents to the Registry Office at once and not through the Soldiers' Committee.
6) If the wife's name is not included in the service record and in her PPO, a public application for marriage must first be submitted to the Registrar through her Sainik Board. Once your designated marriage partner arrives, you will need to fill out the discharge register. Next, apply to PCDA through the registry office to issue a JN-PPO.
