China is not an enemy, just a competitor: Lt Gen Bikram Singh

China is not an enemy, just a competitor: Lt Gen Bikram Singh
First COAS who has not participated in any war. He ought to have read post independence India's military history. It is never too late for COAS to study 'Himalayan Blunder' , before blundering to speak in public about China. It is a different ball game in a command HQ and all together a different one, in South Block. Gen Bikram Singh, will serve nation well, if he can follow foot steps of SAM BAHADUR, whose sacred office is now for him to occupy and bring home more glory. Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat follies of past. Saving grace is that, committed Indians know fully well that war is too serious , to be left to Generals alone. Last Sikh Li officer in COAS chair had fully grasped ( hard way, as Brig,) the tact to use veteran Regiments to turn tide and rise high. Call upon deeds of past worriers, from chapters of history, to treed uncertain path of future.
