Inauguration of BSc. (Hons) Nursing Course in Army Hospital (R&R)

The starting of BSc. (Hons) course of Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Cantt has added a feather in its cap today by converting School of Nursing to College of Nursing which is affiliated to the esteemed Delhi University. The inauguration ceremony of BSc. (Hons) Nursing course of the college of Nursing, Army Hospital (R&R) was held today in the institute premises.

Air Marshal DP Joshi, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services inaugurated the course as the Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said it will give a platform for aspiring nursing students to get a degree after passing out from this institution. In the function an information brochure about Army Hospital (R&R) and College of Nursing was also released by Lt Gen VP Chaturvedi, DGMS (Army) and Col Commandant of Army Medical Corps.

Prof. (Dr) Bimla Kapoor, Advisor, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, Max Institute of Health Education and Research and Ex-Prof. and Former Director of School of Health Sciences IGNOU delivered a key note address on this momentous occasion on the top ‘Quality Education – Way Forward’.
