Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to announce the much awaited date of implementation of the One Rank One Pension scheme when he addresses the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort, officials in in the Defence Ministry have said.
The word has even spread to agitating Ex-Servicemen, who are sitting on relay hunger strike at Jantar Mantar for the past 54 days, protesting the delay in implementation of the OROP despite the government accepting the scheme in principle over 15 months ago.
