Dear Veterans

Today we have entered 98 day of RHS at JM. 

Morale is high and we are determined to achieve OROP. 

ESM are men of steel and have proved all predictions of bureaucrats wrong. Bureaucrats had probably assured politicians to not to take this agitation seriously as it will wear out like any other agitation in few days. 

They even managed to get our bank account blocked through their emissary and were confident that the agitation will be forced to be stopped with funds drying up. Politician bureaucrat combine were probably not aware that they are dealing with battle hardened soldiers who do not show their back even to volley of enemies bullets. How can resource crunch stop this agitation of our status and our rights. 

We are thankful to all ESM who have shown exemplary courage and turned up in large numbers for the agitation and have also contributed  funds to run the agitation.This agitation at JM will probably be a record of its own kind being the longest agitation in the world. 

Friends the agitation is growing from strength to strength. Morale is high and their is a queue of ESM to sit for RHS. Crowd support to the agitation is very encouraging.

Gentlemen with your support we are sure to convince Govt to agree to our genuine demands. 

On 5 Sep 2015, Govt has declared OROP unilaterally but it is truncated and diluted. OROP in this form is not acceptable to ESMs as there are seven severe shortcomings in the announced OROP. These have been communicated to RM and to Govt environment. 

It is important to plan activities at JM and across length and breadth of country to convey the message to Govt that our morale is high and spirits are touching the sky, no pressure can shake us from our resolve of achieving full OROP. 

Following programs have been decided to keep our agitation in struggle mode and battle ready. 

1. 22 Sep 2015 Felicitation to war veterans of 1965 war. All are invited at 1100h at JM for tea party. this will be 100th day of RHS at JM.
2. 24 Sep 2015 Veterans' rally in Ludhiana. 
3. 27 Sep 2015  Veterans' rally in Dehradun
4. 26/27 Sep 2015  Fouji kid from B wood to visit JM in support of OROP. Details will be informed later.
5. 2 Oct 2015   Biker's rally in Delhi to around the ring road from 0900h to 1100h. Rally will stop at Raj ghat and India gate to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and to our martyrs. Rally will end up.
6. 2 Oct 2015   Kavi sammelan of all India renowned poets from 1600h to 1800h of valor of soldiers and OROP. Details will be confirmed later.
7. 6/7/8 Oct 2015  Press Conference in Patna
8. 6/7 Oct 2015   Veterans' rally in UP. Details will be informed on finalization. 
9. 11 Oct 2015    Veterans' rally in Varanasi
10. 17/18 Oct 2015  Veterans' rally in Jullunder
11. Conveners will arrange local cycle or motor cycle rallies in all town across India. 
12. Bikers rallies are being planned to carry message of ill treatment of ESM in India and also message of OROP.
13. Nov 2015 Programs are being worked out and details will be announced soon. 
14. 1 Dec 2015 Motor cycle rallies will be planned from all major towns in India so that 1500 to 2000 motor cycles reach Delhi on 12/13 Dec 2015 to join up in Mega rally planned for 13 Dec 2015
15. 13 Dec 2015  Mega Rally at JM in support of OROP. 
16. Agitation has crossed India and we have received support from unprecedented areas like USA, UK and Australia and Canada. ESM will be agitating in these countries also. 

These are the tentative programs in support of agitation at JM. UFESM/IESM requests support from all ESM to make these programs mega success to let the politicians and bureaucrats know that there is still a lot grease in our joints and we are not fused cartridges. 

ROAR OF LIONS WILL REACH NORTH BLOCK AND SOUTH BLOCK TO CONVEY POWER OF ESM AND THE POWER OF THEIR VOTES. ESM WILL NOT REST TILL GRANT OF FULL OROP AS PER PARLIAMENT APPROVED DEFINITION.

All conveners are requested to note and plan accordingly. Activity team at JM (Col Rohit and Cdr KK Sharma ) will liaise with the conveners to finalize the program details.
