Although the government has announced implementation of the One Rank One Pension (OROP), protesting ex-servicemen will take a rally at Jantar Mantar on Saturday.
The ex-servicemen would be pressing for six of the seven issues that they believe the government has not approved in OROP.
“The rally will take place at Jantar Mantar on Saturday morning. We have raised seven issues and if the government accepts it or gives us concrete assurance on paper, we are ready to pack up and leave,” said Maj Gen (Retd) Satbir Singh, chairman of the Indian Ex-Servicemen Movement.
