To calculate your pension arrears from Jan 2006 to 23 Sep 2012, I need your pension as on Jan 2006, Jul 2009 and 24 Sep 2012. Many have got these figures from their bank pass books. 2. The figures are much higher than what is mentioned in various circulars and Govt letters. This is because what you get in bank as pension is inclusive of Dearness Relief. So your actual pension = Amount shown in Bank Pass Book – Dearness Relief during that period. (a) Pension as w.e.f Jan 2006 is given Circular 397 & Min of Def letter dt 11 Nov 2008 (b) Pension w.e.f Jul 2009 is given in Circular 430. © Pension w.e.f 24 Sep 2012 is given in Circular 501. 3. Please understand Nb Sub X and Y Gps, Subs X and Y Gps and Sub Maj Y Gp have been given pension w.e.f Jul 2009 the same as given w.e.f. 24 Sep 2012. This means the period of pension arrears is as under:- (a) Sepoys to Hav, Sub Maj Y gp - Jan 2006 to 23 Sep 2012 (b) Nb Sub, Sub and Sub Maj Y gp - Jan 2006 to 30 Jun 2009. 4. Those of you who want me to calculate your pension arrears kindly send me the following four bits of information:- (a) Rank. (b) Number of years of service in years and months. © X or Y Gp.
