Sub: Request to re-fixation of pay of Ex-Servicemen re-employed in EPFO- regarding. 

Sir,
This office has received various representations from Ex-Servicemen re-employed in EPFO on the subject mentioned above. They have highlighted some Regional offices have made the fixation of pay in r/o Ex-Servicemen re-employed in EPFO in accordance with DOPT OM No. 3/19/2009-Estt (Pay-II) dated 05/04/2010 and the ex-servicemen of some other Regional offices have been deprived of the benefits of the pay fixation.

2. It is stated that the Head office has made a reference to the Govt. of India for clarification vide Head office letter No. HRM~IV/5(1)2009/Ex-SM/3369 dated 28/12/15 

3. It is, therefore, requested to clarify whether the above instructions have been implemented, if yes, please furnish the information and details of such cases where by fixation have been done without the concurrence of Head office.
