INTERNATIONAL NEWS - 27/04/2022

✈ INTERNATIONAL NEWS 

1.  Indian Parliamentary Delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla  held a bilateral meeting with Emirates Senior Minister of Singapore Goh Chok Tong.

He also said, the India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement is an important milestone for the promotion of bilateral business interests.

2. Speaking at the Raisina Dialogue Townhall, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar  said, India has a very clear position on the conflict in Ukraine which emphasizes an urgent cessation of fighting and a return to diplomacy and dialogue. 

3. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh  held a meeting with UK Minister of Defence Procurement Jeremy Quin and discussed the opportunities available in areas of aviation, ship building and other defence industrial programmes.
