Veterans are not aware when their CSD card validity expires.

Dear Friends
Many of our Veterans are not aware when their CSD card validity expires.
Canteen smart cards automatically stop working after 10 years from the Date of Issue. So friends its very easier to find out the date of issue.
The date of issue is on the card itself. Please check the card  number in bold. After the two alphabets the next two numerals are date, next two are month and next two are year. FOR example
*GB06041592591600T00*
06 is date 04 is month and 15 is 2015.
This card is issued on  06/04/2015 and it expires on 06/05/2025.
One can check from  own card the date of issue and renewal due dates.
If you find  this information is  useful,  please  like and share.
