OROP 2. CDA(P) has finalized the tables of the OROP 2. Most likely tables will uploaded on or after 16 June.
There are 101 tables for all ranks incl Army, Navy, & Airforce.
The pensions for pre 2016 will be revised from 01 July 2014.
The arrears from 01 July 14 to 01 Jul 2016 will be paid in four equal installment every quarter.
Your new basic will be old basic × 3.4.
The pensions will be revised every five years.
Just to get a feel a sepoy will get Rs 1473 +506 ( 34 percent of the difference in old & new pensions ) Total 1979 PM from 01 July 2014.
Most likely the Govt notification will come on 16 June 2022.
Hope for the best the CGDA has finished its job on arrears calculations & refixation of pensions. Now it is DESW ( MOD ) to issue orders on implementation.
The refixation of pension after 5 Years will be New pension × 8.5 percent plus DA. For those retired after 01 July 2017 their pension will be refixed after five years ie in 2022.
The arrears of refixed pension after 2019 will most probably be added to the arrears of refixation of OROP of the period 01 July 2014. And paid quarterly in four equal installment. The arrears before 01July 2014 will not paid.
