Govt. India has set up a *senior citizen help line phone no. 14567.* My friend checked on this phone & he was pleasantly surprised by the response by a lady. This centre provides any help / support needed by senior citizens 24 hours. One can refer a case of senior citizen in distress , medical help needed, or protection from harassment etc at any time of the day or night. He was very impressed by the person who expressed concern with promise to immediate help. Suggest we circulate this info widely to help those in need of help.
