*_Now that OROP 2 Charts released with lot of discrepancies._*
Some will curse.
Some will go to Court.
Some will keep quiet.
Anyhow everyone will accept and will be getting their first installment of OROP 2 Arrears as and when it is paid.
So let me focus on the arrears Calculations.
I am taking mine as an example.
My Revised Pension Basic as per the. OROP 2 Table as Y Group Sergeant with 20 years of Service is ₹ 22,007.
My present Basic Pension is ₹ 20,034.
The difference between the two is ₹ 1,973.
*_As on 01.01.2023, total OROP 2 arrears due for everyone is for 42 months._*
So my arrears of Pension Basic alone is 1973 * 42 = ₹ 82,866.
*_Now DA PORTION_*
From 01.07.2019 to 30.06.2021 DA @ 17% for 24 months is 1973 * 17 * 24 = ₹ 8,050.
From 01.07.2021 to 31.12.2021 DA @ 31% for 06 months is 1973 * 31 * 06 = ₹ 3,670.
From 01.01.2022 to 30.06.2022 DA @ 34% for 06 months is 1973 * 34 * 06 = ₹ 4,025.
From 01.07.2022 to 31.12.2022 DA @ 38% for 06 months is 1973 * 38 * 06 = ₹ 4,498.
So, my Total DA is ₹ 8,050 + ₹ 3,670 + ₹ 4,025 + ₹ 4,498 = ₹ 20,243.
My Total Pension Basic arrears is. ₹ 82,866.
My Total DA arrears is ₹ 20,243.
*_TOTAL ARREARS is ₹ 82,866 + ₹ 20,243 =. ₹ 1,03,109._*
*_Each installment due for me is ₹ 25,777._*
All others are requested to verify their OROP 2 Table and calculate accordingly as above.
