One family pensioner problem solved

Dear Veterans ,
Smt Savitri Devi Kolkar, wife of (late) Nk Yeshwant Kolkar who got martyred in Op Vijay in 1999 and was awarded Sena Medal (Gallantry) posthumously. She has been corresponding with me in WhatsApp in broken Hindi. I find that she knows only Marathi. She did not get her monthly monetary allowance of Rs 2000 pm for the gallantry award of her martyred husband.
I took her case with me when I went to PCDA (Pensions) Prayagraj on 12 Dec 2022. Though the PCDA (Pensions) Prayagraj got the details from Record Office, Nasik and published the award of SM in 2001, the PPO did not mention the award of SM when they generated her PPO for Liberalised Family Pension.
Thanks to OiC DPCC, he somehow got the letter of PCDA (Pensions) Allahabad that the SM (Gallantry) was notified in 2001 but not included in the PPO. The Canara bank refused to pay the widow her monthly monetary allowance. I requested OiC DPCC to send his people to Record room where PPOs of those retired from 1925 are stacked year wise. They staff of DPCC finally after two days of intense search located that document of 2001 where in the SM was notified. Then it became easy for them to get a Corr PPO.
I have sent the Corr PPO to Col Srikantha Seshadri, President, Karnataka, TSEWA with a request to go to Central Pension Processing Center of Canara Bank in Bengaluru to expedite remittance of her arrears. He sent a WA message that Smt Savitri Devi Kolkar got her arrears today i.e. 04 Jan 2022.
*Sir, this lady Smt Savithri Devi Kolkar got the arrears of :₹ 1,59,325/- today as monetary allowance for SM*

This was possible due to  personal liaison with Lt Col Ranjan Kumar, OiC, DPCC and his dedicated staff who get motivated seeing the way their boss (Lt Col Ranjan) works from 0930 hrs to 1800 hrs without even lunch.

When I send a request for E-PPO to him, I get it by the evening.
Not a challenge, but try to get E-PPO yourself.
Do not forget TSEWA spent Rs 42,500 on me to get these jobs done during my four days stay from 12 to 16 Dec 2022 in Prayagraj.

I contribute every day Rs 100 (Rs 36,500 per annum) to TSEWA for such expenses. If every member of TSEWA contributes even Rs 10 per day to TSEWA, see how much work we can get by personal visits at frequent intervals to PCDA (Pensions) Prayagraj.

warm regards,
Brig CS Vidyasagar (Retd)
