OROP II 1Y group JCOS/OR Libraised Family pension

Dear Veterans,
I have worked out total arrears from Jul 2019 to Dec 2022 of Liberalised Family Pension (LFP) of JCOs / OR of Y group.

This is applicable to those whose pension w.e.f. Jan 2016 is more beneficial by 2.57 method. If some pensioners have higher pension by Notional pay method then they should change data of  OROP 1 with that of Notional pension w.e.f. Jan 2016.

HSM KV Subba Rao (Retd) had a doubt. I cleared it. I now added one more column of Basic Pension (without DR) of Liberalised family pensioners which tallies with data given in Table 57 of Min of Def (ESW) letter dated 20 Jan 2023.

This table also gives their pension for the period Jul to Dec 2022 with DR @ 38%.
Increase in Monthly Pension due to OROP - II = Pension in OROP II - Pension in OROP I (table of Circular 555 x 2.57)
Pension in OROP - II is given in Table 7.

Pension in OROP - I for ESM is given in Circular 555 x 2.57.
Total Arrears = Increase in monthly pension x 52.26

Basic Pension of Liberalised Family Pension holder = Pension of Ex- Servicemen in OROP - II x 2
Total Pension with DR @ 38% for the period Jul to Dec 2022 = Basic pension of Liberalised Family Pension holder x 1.38.

I request you  to check for data transfer from Circular 555 and pension table 57 of Min of Def (ESW) letter dt 20 Jan 2023. If you find any mistake, I request you to send them to in Red Colour for my immediate corrective action.

The table is in PDF for easier downloading. Please click the below link.
warm regards,
