OROP2 TOTAL ARREARS CALCULATION:
Dear ESM Friends,
To know your OROP2 Arrears, calculate your basic pension hike amount, by deducting the OROP1 Basic from OROP2 Basic and multiply the hiked amount with 53.58.
For Example :
Y Group Hav/PO/Sgt with 15 Yrs service, present 7 CPC Basic is Rs 19404 = New Basic is 21,782. Hence Rs. 2378/- is hike in Basic. 53.58 times is arrears amount per Re.1/- hike in Basic Pension. So, 2378 x 53.58 = 127,413.24P is approximate total arrears for the period from 01.7.2019 to 31.12.2022.
About 1% variation in total amount is likely due to various factors.
Note :- OROP2 is not applicable to Navy Special Pensioners and Reservist Pensioners.
