*LOCK YOUR BIOMETRIC IN ADHAAR DATABASE*
Kindly follow the following steps to lock your biometrics in the Aadhar database -
• Download mAadhar from the play store
• Open the App and select Settings from the more options
• Create a four-digit password to access your Aadhar
• Open your Aadhar and select the option of Biometric lock(second last option from the bottom)
• Follow the instructions on the screen to lock the biometrics
• Once locked, the screen will show the biometrics option in red
Once the biometrics option is locked, no Aadhar-based authentication can be done using your biometrics (fingerprints)
If you need to do any authentication yourself using Aadhar-based biometrics, kindly unlock it temporarily and again lock it once the job has been done.
It's better to be safe than feel sorry later.
