A large number of Veteran Jawans and JCOs demonstrated their agitation against in-equality in pension and other perquisites during service and after retirement at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on 20 Feb. Another Agitation Demonstration of Veteran Jawans and JCOs will be held on 12 March as informtion disseminated by the veteran organisations.

OROP arrears Not paid to most of the Armed Forces Pensioners till date.  However some pensioners have already received their 1st installment of OROP Arrears.
Indian Ex-servicemen Movement (IESM) has filed Miscellaneous Application (MA) in HSC to order MoD  to pay arrears immediately instead of 4 (six monthly) installments. The MA will be heard on 27 Feb 2023 by HSC.  So, you may expect the arrears at one installment soon just after finalization of Court case by HSC.   However no stay orders released by the Appex Court till date.   A detailed case status of the Court Case is  given below :-
