Not With Easy Linking Process of PAN and Aadhaar : “Check Here Your PAN And Aadhar Linked”


 

You must know that linking of your PAN card with Aadhar 

It is mandatory by 31 March 2023. From 01/04/2023 you will not be able to link the same. Your PAN is not valid. 
In this article we will know Firstly – 
How can you confirm that your PAN Card is already linked to your Aadhar or not.  
Secondly If not linked, then how to  link your PAN with Aadhaar in simple steps.
Confirm your PAN is Linked to Aadhar or not. 

You can check here if your PAN is linked with your Aadhar or Not.  To Confirm your Adhar PAN linking status just follow the simple two steps.
Step One  :   Click on the link given below or go to official website of Income Tax e filing.  Make sure that you must clicking on Govt website gov.in   and not click any unknown link received through your SMS  or whatsapp etc.

Step Two :  Now put your PAN Number and Aadhar Number and click on the View Link Aadhar Status button at bottom right.
If your PAN is linked with Aadhar you will see a confirmation msg on the screen instantly.  No SMS will be sent on your mobile Phone.  Be Aware from Phishing trap… do not click any unknown link in the name of Aadhar PAN Linking unless it is confirmed as genuine.
Now What to do if your PAN and Aadhar is shown Not linked ? Remedy is here.  Just follow the simple steps and you will be able to do it at your own.  Please avoid visiting the public computer booth Citizen Service Centre, CSC etc for such a little job. Yes, you can do it at yourself.  Don’t need to share your data with any others.  There are examples of misuse of your PAN and Aadhar data by such Common service Centres and Pvt cyber cafe.
So, let’s discuss the easy steps here to link your PAN with Aadhar within 2 Minutes:

PAN  Aadhar link  Process

a) Open the Income Tax e-filing portal – https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

b) Register on it (if not already done). Your PAN (Permanent Account Number) will be your user id.

c) Log in by entering the User ID, password and date of birth.
d) A pop up window will appear, prompting you to link your PAN with Aadhaar. If not, go to ‘Profile Settings’ on Menu bar and click on ‘Link Aadhaar’.

e) Details such as name date of birth and gender will already be mentioned as per the PAN details.

f) Verify the PAN details on screen with the ones mentioned on your Aadhaar. Pls. note that if there is a mismatch, you need to get the same corrected in either of the documents.

g) If the details match, enter your Aadhaar number and click on the “link now” button.
h) A pop-up message will inform you that your Aadhaar has been successfully linked to your PAN.

i) You may also visit https://www.utiitsl.com/ OR https://www.egov-nsdl.co.in/ to link your PAN and Aadhaar.
