SPARSH- Demographic Validation Failure
Dear Veterans, 

1. Few veterans migrated to SPARSH complained to me that they got user id and password. After logging into SPARSH, they were asked to enter their Aadhar Number. Even after entering Aadhaar No they are getting message *Demographic Validation Failure*. They are perplexed. 

As usual I sent this problem to Lt Col Ranjan Kumar, OiC, Defence Pensions Contact Centre. He immediately spoke to me at length and explained the procedure in such cases. 

2. Though the bank might have given the Aadhaar No due to technical glitches the Aadhaar No is not uploaded into SPARSH. Hence when migrated pensioner enters his Aadhaar no the message
 *Demographic Validation Failure* occurs. It is not the fault of the pensioner nor the bank which already sent these details to SPARSH but it is due to technical problems in SPARSH software. This also will be rectified soon.

3. *Officers*. Such officers who get the message *Demographic Validation Failure* are advised to go to their pension paying bank (not CPPC) and request them to send again their Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Life Certificate, Mobile no and Email address on line in the form of email to 
sparsharmyco.dad@gov.in with a copy to DPCC       liaison.1986@gov.in imdt.

The message I got from Lt Col Ranjan Kumar is given below: -

For Offrs :-

Tell bank to send details to PCDA(P) through email sparsharmyco.dad@gov.in with a copy to DPCC       liaison.1986@gov.in imdt.

4. *JCOs & OR*. JCOs and OR are also to go their bank and ask them to forward documents mentioned for officers to sparsharmypbors.dad@gov.in with a copy to DPCC       liaison.1986@gov.in imdt. The message I got from Lt Col Ranjan Kumar is shown below: -

For JCOs/OR :-
Tell bank to send details to PCDA(P) through email sparsharmypbors.dad@gov.in with a copy to DPCC       liaison.1986@gov.in imdt.

5. I hope when affected officers, JCOs & OR if they follow the above guidelines will be able to avail all services of SPARSH. But one has to wait for seven to 10 days for these to effected in SPARSH software. As long you get your pension, you should not worry.

6. Please circulate among other WA gps for the benefit of such aggrieved pensioners migrated to SPARSH.
