*AYUSHMAN BHARAT PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AROGYA YOJNA :  AYUSHMAN CARD - ABHA CARD*

Hon'ble Members,

1.    Jai Hind.

2.   Ayushman Bharat - Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojna has two Components -

(a).  Annual Coverage for Poor & Vulnerable family, which form the bottom 40 % of the Indian Population.

(b).  Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID. This ID has got nothing to do with Rs 5 Lac Annual Coverage. Annual Coverage is Applicable only for the Poor whose Annual Income is less than Rs 2.5 Lac.

3.   Therefore, please don't mix up both the Components. *The CGHS & ECHS Beneficiaries are going to be Linked so that ABHA Account ID can be generated.* This would only facilitate Uploading of Investigation Reports under Digital Mission. The same can be Downloaded as and when Required for Review. This would only happen Once the Facility to Upload and Download would be made Available in All the Hospitals Govt as well as Private.

4.   *Ayushman Cards provide free Critical HealthCare Treatment. ABHA Card is a Unique HealthCare Identity that Stores your Medical Record. Ayushman Cards Cover up to ₹5 Lakh per Family Annually. ABHA Card is an Unlimited Digital Storage of Medical Reports.*

5.    A number of Messages regarding Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna are being Circulated in Social Media Platforms these days .The above is for your information please.

       Warm regards.
