With concerted efforts, 6,600 sq. ft. of land was leased from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The construction of TTSN began in 2002 and was completed in May 2010. The facility is located close to the temple premises, offering an affordable yet comfortable stay exclusively for defence personnel.

Tirupati Sainik Niwas is a four-story building equipped with an elevator to assist elderly and differently-abled guests.
