Dear All,
1 House Tax of self occupied house by defence personnel was earlier exempted in Haryana. In a recent announcement, Haryana Govt had put a limit on the exemption and restricted this exemption only for self occupied house up to 250 Sq yds area plot.
2 IESM MOHALI TEAM led by Brig Kiran Krishan and actively supported by Col SS Kalia and others worked over time and took up the case very strongly with the CHIEF MINISTER.With their constant efforts CM Haryana has relented to exempt House Tax for one self occupied house of defence personnel of any size.
3 CM has made this announcement in a Rally today. We hope that written orders would be out soon.
