Achchey din aane waale hain

Indian Military Veterans
Dear Veterans

Achchey din aane waale hain. We are reaching closer to our goal though slow. Today 9 June 14 President has announce following three issues concerning armed forces/veterans in his address in the Lok Sabha.
  1. OROP for ex-servicemen will be implemented soon.
  2. Ex-servicemen commission will be established soon.
  3. War Memorial in remembrance of martyrs of wars after independence will be constructed soon IN CAPITAL.
This is a major victory for ex-servicemen. IESM has been constantly taking up these issues with Govt at all levels. Perseverance has paid and all the three demands are near implementation. IESM is constantly in touch with authorities  and will make sure that there is no dilution of the APPROVED definition of  OROP . With this announcement IESM is hopeful that Government letter for implementation of OROP will be out within 30 days.
IESM is also pursuing the issue of payment of PENSION arrears from 1 jan 06  to all pensioners, Govt has earlier given this increase from 24 Sep 12. The Honorable Supreme Court has given three months to MOD to implement this decision and to make sure that all arrears are paid to ex-servicemen from 1 Jan 06.
Rank Pay case is being pursued by RDOA. This case has also been decided in favour of petitioners ex-servicemen and will be implemented soon.

congratulations to all veterans.

IESM THANKS PRIME MINISTER MODI JI AND BJP FOR APPROVING VETERANS' LONG PENDING DEMANDS AS PROMISED IN THEIR MANIFESTO AND USHERING ACHHEY DIN FOR EX-SERVICEMEN.

IESM HOPES THAT NOW ON-WARDS DESW/MOD/LAW MINISTRY WILL NOT CONTEST CASES ONCE DECIDED IN FAVOR OF EX-SERVICEMEN BY AFT/HIGH COURTS.

PRESERVE YOUR VOTE POWER AND ALL LEGITIMATE DEMANDS OF VETERANS WILL BE APPROVED
