You may refer the Case No RP(C) No. 769/2022 in WPC 419/2016.
OROP is the most awaiting benefit for the veterans. Since 2019, the revision left pending for 40 lakh pensioners. After the verdict of the apex court in March 2022, the present Govt was directed to implemet the revision process from July 2019 and pay the dues within 3 months. You all know that the Govt has failed to workout the revision process for OROP 2nd revision.Meanwhile Indian Ex Servicemen Movement & Ors (Petitionar) Vs Union of India (Respodent) case was filed before the Hon’ble Supreme Court for Listing to review the orders on revision of OROP in actual form as per recommendations of the committee formed for the purpose and not in diluted form. So, the review petition has been dismissed in terms of signed order.
