I just now saw a WhatsApp message in TSEWA (WB) a veteran by name Ranjan Kumar Acharjee has informed that he a pre - 2006 pensioner got migrated to SPARSH as per the information he received from SPARSH. The details given by SPARSH shows his full name i.e. Ranjan Kumar Acharjee. The same is attached to this message.
I sent a WA message to him asking him to tell me whether his name in PPO is abbreviated one i.e. RN Acharjee or full name Ranjan Kumar Acharjee. I wanted to speak to him but could not.
It appears to me what Lt Gen SB Akali informed to be correct. PCDA (Pensions) Allahabad had only abbreviated our names to suit their software requirement. When we sent our pension documents through AGs branch (service HQ), I am sure the name entered there is our full name. But I do not remember whether I entered my full name in my pension documents.
Therefore, let us not break our heads and run to change our name.
