UPI Transaction Limit: Pay using UPI? Can’t transact more than this per day
Nowadays, most people pay through UPI instead of cash. If you also pay through UPI, then this news is useful for you. Do you know that your bank puts a transaction limit on you?
You can make payments through the UPI app only up to a limit. Every bank has a daily limit for UPI transactions. This means that you can send or receive money only up to a certain amount in a day. Apart from this, different banks have different limits on how much money can be done through UPI at one go.
According to the guidelines of NPCI, you will be able to do transactions up to Rs 1 lakh in a day through UPI. This limit may vary from bank to bank. The daily limit in Canara Bank is only Rs 25,000 while in SBI the daily limit is Rs 1 lakh.
Limit on the number of transactions per day
Along with the money transfer limit, there is also a limit on the number of UPI transfers that can be done in a day. The daily UPI transfer limit is set at 20 transactions. After the limit is exhausted, one has to wait for 24 hours to renew the limit. However, the limit may differ from bank to bank.
Paytm UPI Transaction Limit
Paytm UPI has set a maximum limit of Rs 1 lakh per day for UPI users. On the other hand, now you will be able to do transactions of only Rs 20,000 in an hour with Paytm. Through this app, you can do 5 transactions in an hour and only 20 transactions in a day.
Google Pay UPI Transaction Limit
Google Pay has also fixed the maximum transaction limit10 in a day. Users will be able to do only 10 transactions in a day from this app. At the same time, an amount of up to one lakh rupees can be transferred through this app in a day. However, Google Pay has not set any limit for transactions every hour.
PhonePe UPI Transaction Limit
PhonePe has also fixed the maximum amount of Rs 1 lakh in a day through UPI. Wherein now anyone can do maximum 10 or 20 transactions in a day through this app. PhonePe has also not fixed any hourly transaction limit.
Amazon Pay UPI Transaction Limit
Amazon Pay has also fixed the maximum limit for making payments through UPI in a day at Rs 1 lakh. At the same time, it has kept the limit of transaction 20 every day. Amazon Pay has fixed a transaction limit of Rs 5,000 for new users after registering on UPI in the first 24 hours.
