ANOMALIES IN IMPLEMENTATION OF ONE RANK ONE PENSION -II FOR ARMY  EX-SERVICEMEN

TODAY 04 MAR 23  MEETING ORGANISED BY TARSEEM MANHAS PRESIDENT OF JAI HIND FOUNDATION RELATED ANOMALIES /DISCRIMINATION IN IMPLEMENTATION OF ONE RANK ONE PENSION-II (OROP-II)  AS WELL AS IN THE  7TH PAY COMMISSION   FOR THE  EX-SERVICEMEN OF ARMY, NAVY AND AIRFORCE 

PROMINENT EX-SERVICEMEN ARE  INVITED AND DISCUSSED FOR VARIOUS ISSUES . MOSTLY   ISSUES RAISED BY THE JCOS/ORS .

THEY TOLD THAT NO ANY ZERO BENEFITS IN OROP-II FOR JUNIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND HONOURARY COMMISSIONED OFFICER'S  AND MINIMISED BENEFITED TO NCOS AND JAWANS WHO ARE RETIRED IN PRE- 2014.

MANHAS SAYING 

 Maximum  benefits under OROP-1 and OROP-2, have gone to Defence Commissioned Officers, who were not even  entitled to it, since their superunation age is close to 60 years and they also get 100% re-employment option too unlike real JAWANs. We the real JAWANs are deeply hurt with the formula adopted by the government, and we lodge our protest hereby. And we want to state that:

 

(a) We hereby demand that rank weightage as mentioned in the GOI, MoD, DESW letter no. 1(13)/2012/D (Pen/Policy) Dated 17.01.2013 should be restored for calculation of Pension as Lateral Entry system as recommended by the 6th CPC vide their Chapter 2.4 is not implemented till date.

(b)Military Service Pay (MSP) should be same for all the combatant soldiers, OROP-2 tables should be recalculated accordingly for JCO/NCOs/ORs/Hony Officers.

(c) Formula for calculation of pension under OROP for JCO/NCOs/ORs/Hony Officers should be on the maximum of pension person retired in the base year instead of current avegare of minimum and maximum.

( d)Our long pending demand of 75% pension of last pay drawn should be implemented. 

(e) Multiplying factor in pay matrix under 7th CPC should be same, as JAWANs multiplying factor is 2.57 and for defence commissioned officers goes upto 2.81%.

(f) Pensions of widows of Jawans is grossly low  and the same may be increased to as same as Jawan's full pensions. 

(g) Disability pensions is only 30% ( For 100% disabled soldier) may be increased to at least 50%   of last pay drawn equal to basic pension in respect of Jawans considering their low pay & pension.

After the meeting all DISTINGUISHED PERSONALITIES of EX-SERVICEMEN met to the sub-divisional magistrate marh block JAMMU  sh. Rajeev Kumar khajuria and handed over the application WHICH IS written on the name of DEFENCE MINISTER HONOURABLE SH.RAJNATH SINGH JI AND  PRIME MINISTER HONOURABLE SH. NARINDER BHAI MODI JI

SDM ASSURED TO US THAT YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE  SUBMITTED VERY SOON AS CONCERNED ADDRESS FOR RECTIFICATION OF ANOMALIES.
