*HONY NB SUB PENSION - TO BE AS THAT OF NB SUB* 

Good evening Sir, 

I want to bring your notice a problem faced by honorary naib subedar, regarding fixation of pension under Circular 631.

According to Circular 631 an honorary naib subedar is entitled for a pension equal to a regular naib subedar and X group naib subedas were getting it till OROP revision 11.but now according to OROP table No 7 , both Havaldars and honorary naib subedars having same pension. 

As an X group honorary naib subedar with 26.5 years service I was getting a basic pension of 28941 which is equal to a regular naib subedar having same length of service. But in OROP revision 11 it is reduced to 26260,whereas a regular naib subedar is given 28550.I am aware that i may continue to get  what I am getting before revision. 

We are a lot confused. I request you to please take the matter through our association so that we can get justice.

TSEWA has taken up a case for Pre - 2016 Hony Nb Subs to get the same pension as that of Nb Sub but PCDA (Pensions) is adamant. We have no option but to go to AFT and argue our case.

Till then there is no solution. Once that is resolved an Hony Nb Subs will get pension of Nb Sub even in OROP - II.
