WHAT IS AYODHYA SAINIK SADAN?
Ayodhya Sainik Sadan is a state-of-the-art transit accommodation facility, located inside Ayodhya Cantt, near the Dogra Regimental Centre. The facility is expected to be operational from 1st February 2024 and is exclusively for serving/retired soldiers and their dependents from the Indian Armed Forces. The facility is designed to provide dignified and affordable stays for the brave and loyal soldiers and their families, who have served or are serving the nation with honour and devotion.
WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF AYODHYA SAINIK SADAN?
- The facility offers 26 fully furnished and air-conditioned rooms, each with:
- Double beds and attached modern washrooms
- A common kitchen with refrigerator, hot plates and crockery.
- Common sitting area on a sharing basis between two rooms
- The facility also provides common facilities such as:24-hour room service and a common lounge
- Dedicated caretaker service and a cloakroom
- Central laundry and RO water facility
- E-Cart service for transportation within the facility and nearby places
- Common recreation area with a park
- The facility also provides medical assistance and tie-ups with:
- MH, Ayodhya Cantt, and ECHS Polyclinic in case of emergencies
- The facility also assists in:
- Hiring taxis/rickshaws and arranging guides
- Travelling to and from the Ayodhya Railway Station/Airport

The booking is done on a first-come-first-serve basis, and you need to pay 100% advance to confirm your booking. The rates for the rooms are as follows:
- One set, two double occupying – Rs 1000 per day (rooms with toilet, kitchen, and sitting area)
- Single Room (Double Occupancy) – Rs 400 per day.

If you cancel your booking, you can get a refund as per the following policy:
- You will lose your refund if you fail to show up
- 80% of the booking amount will be refunded if the booking is cancelled from 72 hours to one week before the date of booking.
- 100% of the booking amount will be refunded if the booking is cancelled any time before one week of the date of booking.

The facility is situated at Ayodhya Cantt U Block, Near COBRA Pre-Primary School, Jaffa Mag, and is easily accessible by road, rail, and air. The Ayodhya Railway Station is just 3 km away, and the Ayodhya Airport is 10 km away.
