Deduction on retirement Commutation within 10 years and 8 months
The issue of deduction on the basis of compensation pension of state and central government servants is currently being heard by the courts. Several court and tribunal proceedings have been initiated in this connection seeking stay and relief on deduction on return of fixed pension amount after 10 years and 8 months from the date of commencement of pension.
Recently, the Chandigarh High Court has passed an interim order and ordered stay on return of pension on retirement benefits.
