SPARSH Problem Solution at Your Doorstep Now : Detailed Program
Thousands of SPARSH pensioners are daily lodging complaints and grievances in the portal, and among them only a very few are resolved and remain pending for months and years. To resolve the issue, the Govt. of India, MoD, has planned to conduct an outreach program for SPARSH pensioners as per the DO letter of CDA, Chennai. Details of the SPARSH Outreach programme is as under :-
SPARSH Outreach Programmes to be conducted across Tamil Nadu in November 2024, as per instructions received from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CODA).
2. The tentative schedule and venues for the SPARSH Outreach Programmer are as under:

- The ongoing Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0 (under the Department of Pensions & Pensioners’ Welfare) for Defence Pensioners will also be simultaneously carried out during these SPARSH Outreach Programmes. Shri Dhanasekar Rathinam, IDAS, DCDA (Mobile No. 6381406021) has been nominated as Nodal Officer for the above SPARSH Outreach Programmes.
- The approximate estimate for conducting each outreach program is around Rs. 3 lakhs, covering infrastructure and logistical arrangements, including lunch and refreshments for the pensioners. This estimate is subject to revision based on the actual number of Pensioners participating in the Outreach Programme.
- Provision of the requisite infrastructural and logistical arrangements at these locations by the Local Army Authorities will significantly aid the smooth conduct of these events.
