Life certificate for the year 2024 is already due for 33 lakh Defence penioners. Among them, more than 96% of pensioners have already been migrated to SPARSH and they can submit their life certificate directly to the SPARSH Portal; there is no need to proceed through Jeevan Praman.
It has been observed that more than 60% Defence pensioners have already submitted their life certificate using Jeevn Praman or direct to SPARSH using the biometric (DLC) / MLC process. Those who are still waiting for submission of a life certificate, whether drawing a pension from the bank or migrating to SPARSH need not wait till the last date. On failure to submit the life certificate within du date, your pension may be paused, which creates an unexpected hazard in life.
