Expected DA for CG Employees : When Cabinet Committee will declare DA enhancement..?
Usually, the announcement of declaration of additional DA to Central staff and pensioners, it has been obtained from the Cabinet Committee meeting which is held on second week of March of every year. But nowadays, it has not been happening due to more concentration on other major issues. Even in the beginning of the April Central could also approved and declared DA for its employees.
Although there will not be possible to change in the hike of DA by 8% from 1.1.2013, the payment of enhanced amount will be issued in the month of March, the proper declaration and subsequently Finance Ministry orders only could move to next action. The total DA for Central Staff and Pensioners are getting now 72% from their basic pay and pension, now it will become as 80%.
The minimum enhanced amount will be Rs.560 and the maximum may be Rs.3710.
Cabinet meetings are being held on Thursdays, so we expect the announcement of declaration of additional Dearness allowance by 8% to CG Staff and Pensioners will be in next week.
