CSD 4 Wheel Entitlement – New Guidelines: 2024

This guide details the revised categories, costs, and incentives for electric vehicles that will benefit military personnel, veterans, and defense civilians. Stay tuned for policy changes in February 2024.

Revised Claims: 2024 CSD Four Wheeler Purchasing Guidelines

The Canteen Store Department (CSD) serves as a general store for  defense heroes, offering a wide range of items including AFD-I and AFD-II products. The government continually updates policies to reflect benefits to soldiers and determines factors such as the number of vehicles that can be purchased and the items available.

This continued commitment is a demonstration of  our appreciation for the defense community and ensures that they and their families have access to essentials at affordable prices through evolving eligibility policies.

The Canteen Stores Department (CSD) has updated its vehicle procurement policy effective  February 1, 2024. For defense personnel from grade 3 to grade 5, the maximum number of cars that can be purchased while on duty has been increased from 2 for him to 4 for him, with each car costing him Rs 800,000. Currently, people from 6th grade to her 9th grade can purchase up to 5 cars in their lifetime. Each car costs Rs 1 million. The purpose of this change is to provide  eligible CSD customers with more flexible options when purchasing a vehicle.

CSD Canteen's 2024 Vehicle Purchase Eligibility Criteria have been revised for Junior  Officers (JCO) and Other Ranks (OR) to ensure transparency and fairness. Weapons factory employees are  now included in the updated policy. The new standards will take effect from February 1, 2024, and it is important for military personnel to understand the changed process of purchasing four-wheelers from his CSD Canteen through his CSD AFD. His CSD Dining Car Policy for Other Ranks (OR) 2024 holds ranks from Sepoy to Habuilder or equivalent in  Indian Air Force (IAF) and Indian Navy (IN) at pay scales 3A to 5 Applies to employees. The maximum amount for  a car purchase is 800,000 yen before tax, and an individual can purchase up to four cars in a lifetime. A retired widow can use the deceased's unused car purchase allowance at intervals of eight years.

For Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) in pay levels 6 to 9, the updated policy allows for a maximum of five car purchases throughout their lifetime, replacing the previous limitation of three cars. This benefit applies to current and former Armed Forces members, pensioners, widows, and next of kin, allowing them to purchase cars up to a maximum value of 10 lakhs, excluding taxes. The first car can be obtained after completing a minimum of five years of service, with an eight-year interval between subsequent purchases.
