Exservicemen may now have a computerized printed i card from zsb.
Good news for Exservicemen.
Have you ever updated your esm identity card? If not, you can check it out now. your i card is still handwritten, and it may be in plain handwriting as well.
Whatever the truth is, the bulk of esm id cards are now hand written by clerks. However, some zila sainik boards have taken the initiative to begin distributing a printed i card to all exservicemen and dependents. It may take some time to begin, due to a technical / infrustctural problem. Printed cards will look neat and much more effective. You will also save time by preparing, so you will get id cards quicker from the zsb.
Zsbs are trying to find printer and other technologically feasible options and will inform/publish when they begin to offer printed dic/id cards. Both the dependent i card and the esm i card will now be printed.
Those who want a printed id card are commonly wait. At your zsb, do not submit offline / online application folders. A online application in the ksb website has to be committed. You can apply online and attend for some time or contact zsb now.
Till ZSB start Printing ID Cards, they will give hand written ID CARDS to those, who have already submitted ID & DIC Card Application Folders.
If you have already submitted your ID Card application folder but want printed ID/DIC CARDS, then please contacct your ZSB.
You need to give following information:-
(a) Type of ID Card: ESM/WIDOW/DIC/REPLACEMENT ID CARD.
(b) Rank Name.
(c) Date of submission of Application Folder if known.
ZSB will hold your ID/DIC Application and give you printed card when we start the process.
