Veterans arrears of OROP-3 pension on September 30!

Government
has already taken sanction decision for OROP for September 2024. What about implementation? Will it be implemented within this month? Will the arrears be paid along with the pension for September 2024? Previously, these were implemented for OROP-1 and OROP-2 after a long wait. The deadline for OROP-3 was July 1, 2024. After active promotion by the ESM Society and effective efforts by the Government of India (MoD), OROP-3 was finally approved for veterans and family pensioners within three months of its effective date.

Once3 the table has been published, PCDA(P) is responsible to credit the revised pension and arrers amount to the bank account of effective veterans. PCDA(P) works hard for timely payment of pension and pensionary benefits to the defencce pensioners. PCDA(P) has also released a Circular No 677 on the implementation of OROP 3rd Revision wef 01 July 2024.

Now, the silent hard work of the Accountants and auditors of the PCDA(P), Prayagraj only ensure timely payment of pension and other pensionary benefits. This time also, the PCDA(P) has taken keen initiative to pay the pension as soon as possible and as a result, they have opened the saturdays, sundays and holidays to complete the revision work of OROP-3. An internal communication (relevant portion only) which has been viral in social media is placed here shgowing their extra ordinary efforts to implement the OROP-3 for Armed Forces Veterans so that the pensioners may get their dues this month.
